Θύμα hacking έπεσε η εταιρεία ασφάλειας Panda Security από την AntiSec (Anonymous)


Περισσότερες από 25 ιστοσελίδες της εταιρείας ασφάλειας και ανάπτυξης λογισμικού προστασίας (firewall, antivirus κ.α) Panda Security έπεσε θύμα hacking από την ομάδα AntiSec των Anonymous.
Η AntiSec παραποίησε (defaced) αρκετές ιστοσελίδες της εταιρείας - τοποθέτησε video, κείμενο κ.α - και υπέκλεψε ενώ παράλληλα έκανε "d0xed" τα στοιχεία πολλών λογαριασμών ηλεκτρονικού ταχυδρομίου (emails, md5 passwords).
Η επίθεση πραγματοποιήθηκε ως αντίποινα για τις συλλήψεις μελών των Anonymous που πραγματοποιήθηκαν τις τελευταίες μέρες σε όλο τον κόσμο. Η AntiSec κατηγόρησε ευθέως την εταιρεία Panda Security ότι συνεργάζεται με τις αρχές και πως ήταν εκείνη που κατέδωσε στο FBI τα στοιχεία των 25 μελών των Anonymous που συνελήφθησαν πριν μερικές μέρες.
